The Alzheimer’s Association

There is growing evidence that lifestyle can affect brain health and risk for dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association offers information on making brain-healthy lifestyle choices. Visit their website.

Arthritis Foundation

The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The North Central Chapter offers free lunch sessions to anyone interested in learning more about their programs and the research that is changing lives of those with arthritis. Courage Center

Courage Center offers comprehensive driver assessment and training for people with disabilities and for seniors. These services are available at Golden Valley, Stillwater, Burnsville, Forest Lake, Duluth, Monticello, Rochester and Spring Lake Park. For more information, call Courage Center at 763.520.0425.

Edina Resource Center

The Edina Resource Center offers community information, resources and support. Their office is located in the Edina Community Center at 5701 Normandale Road in Edina. The Helpline is 952-848-3936. Check out their website.

Minnesota Department of Health

Minnesota Senior Federation

Minnesota Senior Federation unites older adults for social change. Membership dues start at $20 per year for a single membership.
