More importantly, check to make sure they correct issues with poor caregivers swiftly. Be sure to ask these questions.

- Do you have additional screening throughout the year?
- How do you evaluate your caregivers and how often?
- What training do you provide your caregivers?
- What is the process for reporting non-compliance?
- How do you respond to emergencies?
- May I have 2-3 references?
Care
You will want to ensure you leave your loved one in the hands of someone who is not only skilled but who is also compatible with your loved one. Be sure to ask these questions.
- What specific services do you provide?
- Has your agency won any awards?
- Will we have the same caregiver/caregivers every time?
- What happens if the caregiver does not show up on time or at all?
