Testimonials

“I enjoyed working with this agency. One thing that I enjoyed most is the communication between employees and administration, very effective and organized. There is always somebody available 24/7 ready to handle employees’ concerns. Promise Care employees are very friendly, ready to assist each other, well informed, competent, and focused on their clients’ needs.” – Josy

  1. What do I love about PC? First, and foremost, I love the will of patients to want to reside in their homes as long as possible. With that said, the work of PC to be able to supplement/support patients in this initiative is critical.
  2. What makes PC different from other agencies? I greatly appreciate the pillars/values that PC advocates for, along with the fact that they follow through on ensuring all patients are offered the respect and care they so well deserve.
  3. Why should a caregiver consider working for PC? Working as a caregiver in a home care agency is highly rewarding. You meet patients where they are in their homes and try to support them in caring for themselves and enhancing their quality of life. Caregivers who appreciate their independence, however, are also supported with access to nurses and administration for questions/concerns, should highly consider working with Promise Care.
  4. Do you feel recognized and appreciated for the work you do? I believe it is important for all health care professionals to have a formal review so they are aware if their work is meeting the health care expectations of the organization. I am open to positive as well as constructive comments. PC has been very kind to recognize the work I am doing to enhance and support the lives of the patients I care for.
  5. Give us some feedback as to how satisfied you are with your schedule, consistency of work. I have been very pleased with the flexibility that PC has offered to me. Although I attempt to provide my patients with a consistent schedule, there are situations in my personal/professional life that may arise. When this occurs, management has been very understanding and has assisted in accommodating my work schedule.

“I love the benefit of being able to use Tapcheck on a daily basis if I needed to. I have had to use it 2-3X a pay period for Cash, Fuel, or Car Maintenance. It has helped me in so many ways. I’m able to get it daily if I need to, and it lets me know how much I’m able to take. I can get it right away if needed for a small fee, or if I can wait there isn’t a charge. I really don’t notice a difference, especially when I’m able to pick up extra hours or if I work a holiday.

I also like if I refer an employee of this benefit and they use it, then I can take an advanced at no charge. I Love this benefit that Promise Care offers, I recommend it to everyone that can use Tapcheck.” – B.T.

  1. What do you love about PC? The clients are all very nice and the supervisors are all communicative, friendly and helpful.
  2. What makes PC different from other agencies? All of my coworkers are very professional. I don’t have to worry about someone being late or not showing up. Everyone pulls their weight and is happy to help their clients.
  3. Why would I recommend PC? The pay is good and I can work the schedule I want. The caregivers and nurses are all very professional and eager to help. Everyone does what they need to do without needing to be reminded.
  4. Do I feel recognized/appreciated? Yes, when I raise a concern about a relationship with a client or a client’s needs the supervisors listen and work with everyone to find a solution. My opinion and preferences are honored when selecting clients.
  5. Do I get the hours/schedule I want? I usually get the hours and schedule I want. Of course, some concessions need to be made on occasion, and there is the occasional lull in hours which is to be expected in this line of work. I feel that the supervisors work hard to get me the hours I need and to honor my schedule. For the most part, I have not suffered from a shortage of hours and I can usually select which days I want to work.

“My experience with Promise Care has been wonderful. Eighteen months ago, when I joined your team, I had no idea I would fall in love with home care services or my client, but I did! I will miss you all, and especially my client.

I highly recommend Promise Care Inc. to family and friends as a place to work and a home care service. Thank you for being a perfect experience in my career.” – Former Employee

Meet Our Staff

Molly

My name is Molly and I am a CNA. I have been a CNA for almost 10 years. I started out working in a nursing home kitchen where my love for care giving began. I have taken care of all age groups, my favorite being geriatrics. One thing is enjoy most about Home Care is being able to listen to all the stories my client has.

Areisi

My name is Areisi like the Reece’s candy. I’m 22 years old. I have a rabbit named Thumper. I enjoy traveling, whenever possible. Some of my hobbies include cooking, hiking and ice skating. I’m a part-time student working on my health science degree.

Julie

I love Home Care because I know I’m reaching my client first hand and on the front line. She reminds me we’re keeping her safe and healthy. Plus, my client is a sweetheart of a Lady! She gives wonderful advice for grand parenting as I’m a newbie Gramma. She and I also have a hobby in common, she loves quilting too. In fact, my client used to authenticate quilts making sure they were signed and dated. This makes them more valuable.

Nicole

I enjoy being a caregiver because I learn a lot from the clients stories. I like seeing them light up with a big smile when they have our company. It makes me feel good at the end of the day to know I’ve made a difference in someone’s life.

Linda

Linda MS, RN Graduated from Gustavus Adolphus and from the University of Minnesota where she earned her Masters’ degree.
